Library Rules (図書館の規則)
This is a quiet zone. You are not supposed to talk loudly here. You are not supposed to have food or drinks either. This book is not supposed to be taken out of the library. It was not supposed to be this crowded on a weekday.

"You are not supposed..." (あなたは〜すべきではないことになっている…)
→ "...to talk loudly here." (ここで大声で話す)
ネイティブの感覚
（復習）`be not supposed to do`で「〜してはいけないことになっている」。規則や社会的な常識による禁止を表します。`You must not talk`よりも、「ここでは大声で話さないのがルールですよ」という、少し柔らかく客観的な注意の仕方です。

ネイティブの感覚
受動態との組み合わせです。「この本」は「持ち出される」側なので`to be taken out`となります。「この本が持ち出されること」は規則上「想定されていない」という、物に対する規則を説明する際に使われます。

→ "...this crowded on a weekday." (平日にこんなに混んでいる)
ネイティブの感覚
（復習）過去形`was not supposed to be`は、「〜なはずではなかった（のに、そうなっている）」という、予想や期待に反した現実に対する驚きや不満を表します。「平日にこんなに混んでいる」ことは、私の「想定」とは違っていた、というニュアンスです。
