La mañana tras el “gran caso”, el comedor está lleno de risas y… demasiados postres.
—¿Esto es desayuno o la final mundial de azúcar? —pregunta Aku.
—¡Cállate y come! Es castigo dulce —responde Kumi, con un plato de mousse gigante.
Itao compite con la cabra a ver quién come más donuts.

「大事件」の翌朝、ダイニングは笑い声と…デザートであふれていた。
「これは朝食？それとも砂糖のワールドカップ？」アク。
「黙って食べなさい。これは“あま〜いお仕置き”よ」クミがムース山盛りで返す。

English Translation
The morning after the “big case,” the dining hall is full of laughter and… way too many desserts.
“Is this breakfast or the world sugar finals?” Aku asks.
“Shut up and eat! It’s sweet punishment,” Kumi replies, holding a giant plate of mousse.
Itao competes with the goat to see who can eat more donuts.
De pronto, todas las luces parpadean y suena la alarma de mensajes.
El capitán irrumpe con su loro y una sartén.
—¡Atención! Recibimos señales extrañas del fondo del mar.
—¿No será publicidad de sopa instantánea? —susurra Itao.

English Translation
Suddenly, all the lights flicker and the message alarm goes off.
The captain bursts in with his parrot and a frying pan.
“Attention! We’re receiving strange signals from the ocean floor!”
“Maybe it’s an ad for instant soup…” Itao mutters.
El mensaje suena entre burbujas:
“Ayuda… atrapados… dulce… ¡traed crema!”
Kumi frunce el ceño.
—¿Eso ha sido un SOS… o un pedido de postres?

English Translation
The message bubbles through the speakers:
“Help… trapped… sweet… bring cream!”
Kumi frowns.
“Was that an SOS… or a dessert order?”
—Sea lo que sea, ¡hay que investigar! —Aku se pone en pie, decidido.
Kumi le lanza una mirada inesperadamente cálida.
—¿Sabes, a veces no eres tan tonto…
—¡Pero sólo a veces! —remata, sonrojada.

「何であれ調べないと！」アクが立ち上がる。
クミが珍しく優しい目で見る。
「…たまにはバカじゃないのね」
「…たまにだけよ！」と顔を赤くして付け足す。
English Translation
“Whatever it is, we have to check it out!” Aku stands up, determined.
Kumi gives him a surprisingly warm look.
“You know, sometimes you’re not that much of an idiot…”
“…but only sometimes!” she adds, blushing.
El capitán asiente.
—¡Preparad el mini-submarino!
La cabra ya lleva puesto el casco de buzo.
—¿No era esto un viaje tranquilo? —pregunta Aku.
—Eso era antes de conocernos —responde Kumi, sonriendo.

English Translation
The captain nods.
“Prepare the mini-submarine!”
The goat is already wearing a diving helmet.
“Wasn’t this supposed to be a relaxing cruise?” Aku asks.
“That was before you met us,” Kumi smiles.
Así, entre risas, postres y burbujas misteriosas, empieza una nueva aventura… y, tal vez, un nuevo capítulo para Aku y Kumi.
