Todos guardan silencio. El camarero baja la cabeza.
—No quería hacer daño a nadie…
Todo empezó por un malentendido con el jefe de mantenimiento.
—¿Qué pasó? —pregunta Aku.

English Translation

Kumi asiente.

English Translation
Kumi nods.
“That explains the blue cream and the mess in the kitchen.”
Aku looks at the captain.
“And the hoof print?”
The waiter smiles sadly.
“The goat came in to steal dessert… I stepped in the cream and left the fake print by accident.”
El capitán suspira, la cabra mastica una zanahoria falsa, el loro recita un poema triste.
—Entonces, no fue un asesinato planeado —dice Kumi en voz baja.
—No… pero igual es mi culpa. Estoy listo para aceptar el castigo.
—Solo tendrás que cocinar para todos… ¡postres ilimitados! —proclama el capitán.

English Translation
The captain sighs, the goat chews on a fake carrot, the parrot recites a sad poem.
“So, it wasn’t a planned murder,” Kumi says softly.
“No… but it’s still my fault. I’m ready for the punishment.”
“You’ll just have to cook for everyone… unlimited desserts!” the captain proclaims.
Todos sueltan la tensión, algunos hasta aplauden.
Aku mira a Kumi y sonríe.
