Después del caos chocolatoso, Kumi y yo decidimos alejarnos del bullicio y explorar los pasillos silenciosos del submarino. —¿A dónde vamos ahora, capitán Aku? —preguntó Kumi, imitando un saludo militar con una pajita de cóctel. —Exploraremos territorios desconocidos, señorita Kumi —respondí, abriendo una puerta que daba a un pequeño lounge casi vacío, decorado con peces holográficos nadando en las paredes.

English Translation
After the chocolate chaos, Kumi and I decided to escape the crowd and explore the submarine’s quiet corridors. —"Where to now, Captain Aku?" Kumi asked, giving a military salute with a cocktail straw. —"We’ll explore unknown territories, Lieutenant Kumi," I replied, opening a door to a small, almost empty lounge decorated with holographic fish swimming on the walls.

English Translation
We sank into a sofa so soft it almost swallowed me whole. Kumi sighed, watching the luminous fish. —"Aku, do you realize we’re at the bottom of the sea and haven’t seen a single shark?" —"That’s because sharks are scared of explosive desserts, I’m sure." —"Or your surfing penguin T-shirt," Kumi added, elbowing me playfully.

English Translation
For a moment, we were both quiet. Only the soft hum of the machines and the holographic bubbles filled the air. Kumi broke the silence. —"Hey, Aku… if you could make one wish right here, right now, what would it be?" The question caught me off guard. I looked at Kumi and saw a spark of curiosity (and a bit of flan-induced sleepiness). —"I think I’d wish for… more adventures with you. And maybe insurance against expired mayonnaise." Kumi laughed, tapping the jar sticking out of my backpack. —"That’s so you, Aku."

We kept staring at the bubbles, letting our tiredness and laughter mix together. —"Promise me, if we ever meet a shark, you’ll treat it to pizza," Kumi said, closing her eyes. —"Only if it doesn’t order pineapple," I whispered as she started to drift off beside me. Maybe this trip was crazy, but I wouldn’t trade this underwater moment for anything.
