Cuando la colonia celebró su primer aniversario, Kumi organizó una ceremonia especial: cada persona escribió una carta dirigida a las estrellas, expresando sus sueños, temores y promesas para el futuro. The letters were burned in a bonfire, and the smoke rose toward the starry sky, carrying the messages across the universe. Daira wrote about forgiveness, Luo about infinite curiosity, and the children drew their own constellations, convinced that the stars could also learn from them. When the ceremony ended, the colony felt more united than ever, knowing that even if dangers never disappear, hope can multiply with each generation.

That night, under the glass dome of the observatory, Ak and Kumi gazed at the stars in silence. “Do you think our voices will reach that far?” Kumi asked. Ak smiled: “Maybe yes, maybe no. But as long as we keep sending them, we will never be alone.” So, with each new letter, the colony renewed its promise to always look ahead, never forgetting where it came from.
