Por la tarde, después de clase, los últimos rayos de sol pintan de oro el patio vacío. Najimi propone dar una vuelta antes de volver a casa. Caminamos sin prisa, comentando anécdotas del festival y riendo por los pequeños accidentes que ahora parecen aún más divertidos.

In the afternoon, after class, the last rays of sunlight paint the empty schoolyard gold. Najimi suggests we take a walk before going home. We stroll slowly, talking about memories from the festival and laughing about the little mishaps that now seem even funnier.

Al pasar junto al mural, Komehyo propone dejar una nueva firma, como símbolo de este nuevo comienzo. Todos sacamos rotuladores y, entre bromas, dibujamos pequeñas figuras junto a nuestros nombres. Incluso Kumi, normalmente reservada, se anima a garabatear un pequeño pájaro azul, símbolo de esperanza.

壁画の前を通りかかったとき、コメヒョが「新しいスタートの記念にサインを増やそうよ！」と提案した。みんなでマーカーを持ち寄り、名前のそばに小さなイラストを描き合う。控えめなクミも、勇気を出して青い小鳥を描き加えた。それはどこか未来への希望を感じさせるワンポイントになった。

Passing by the mural, Komehyo suggests adding a new signature as a symbol of this new beginning. We all take out our markers and, joking around, draw little figures next to our names. Even Kumi, usually reserved, gathers the courage to sketch a small blue bird—a symbol of hope.

When we say goodbye, there are fewer words and more smiles. I know something has changed between us, even if we can’t quite name it. Monday comes to an end, but the feeling of a new beginning lingers on.
