Al entrar en el edificio, el murmullo de los estudiantes y el eco de los pasos llenan el aire. En las paredes del vestíbulo cuelgan nuevos carteles para el festival: concursos, puestos de comida, obras de teatro y promesas de diversión. Hay una energía casi eléctrica flotando entre los grupos que se reúnen en los pasillos. Todo parece vibrar con anticipación, como si algo bueno estuviera a punto de ocurrir.

Cuando llegamos al aula, Kumi ya está sentada junto a la ventana, hojeando un cuaderno. Levanta la mirada y nos saluda con un gesto tímido, pero esa pequeña sonrisa es diferente de los primeros días: hay un atisbo de confianza, como si empezara a creer que este lugar puede ser suyo también.
