Las semanas pasan y el frío comienza a anunciar la llegada del invierno. Kumi se adapta cada vez más, pero en las tardes largas y silenciosas siente la falta de sus amigos con más intensidad. En esos momentos, repasa las cartas, mira las fotos y sueña con el día en que volverán a reunirse.

Weeks go by and the cold wind announces the coming of winter. Kumi adapts more and more, but during long, quiet evenings she misses her friends more intensely. In those moments, she rereads their letters, looks at the photos, and dreams of the day they’ll meet again.

La fiesta está llena de luces, música y voces nuevas. Kumi prueba juegos tradicionales, ayuda a decorar y, poco a poco, se siente parte de la alegría compartida. Al final de la noche, toma una foto con sus nuevos amigos y la envía al grupo, con un mensaje: “Hoy he reído de verdad. Gracias por enseñarme a ser valiente”.

The festival is full of lights, music, and new voices. Kumi tries traditional games, helps with decorations, and little by little feels part of the shared joy. At the end of the night, she takes a photo with her new friends and sends it to the group, with a message: “Today I really laughed. Thank you for teaching me to be brave.”
