Los días siguientes, el rumor del viaje llena los pasillos. Las conversaciones giran en torno a las ciudades posibles, los recuerdos que traerán y las promesas de no olvidar a nadie. El aula se llena de mapas, fotos y listas de lugares que sueñan con visitar.

In the days that follow, talk of the trip fills the hallways. Everyone talks about which cities they might visit, the memories they’ll make, and their promises not to forget anyone. The classroom is covered with maps, photos, and lists of places they dream of seeing.

Kumi, aunque un poco nerviosa, participa activamente en los preparativos. Investiga sobre la ciudad anfitriona, aprende palabras nuevas y hasta pregunta a los profesores consejos para adaptarse mejor. Su entusiasmo contagia al grupo, y todos se sienten parte de su reto.

Kumi, a little nervous, still throws herself into preparations. She researches the host city, learns new words, and even asks teachers for advice on how to fit in. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and everyone feels part of her challenge.

Najimi organiza una pequeña despedida en la azotea de la escuela, con bocadillos y música. Entre risas y fotos, cada uno entrega a Kumi una carta o un amuleto, deseándole suerte. Komehyo le da un llavero en forma de dragón, prometiéndole que la espera será corta.
