Tras el reencuentro en el puente, el club volvió a la escuela con otra mirada. La lluvia había cesado, pero el aire olía a tierra nueva. Yuna sostenía la pulsera que Kumi le había dejado, Daigo caminaba callado por primera vez, y hasta Komehyo parecía más serio, aunque de vez en cuando soltaba un chiste para no dejar que la melancolía lo cubriera todo.

橋での再会の後、クラブのみんなはどこか変わった表情で学校へ戻った。雨は上がり、空気は新しい土の匂いがした。ユナはクミが残してくれたブレスレットを握りしめ、大悟は珍しく無口になり、コメヒョも普段より少し真面目だ。でも、ときどき冗談を言っては、重くなりすぎた空気を和ませていた。

After the reunion on the bridge, the club returned to school with a new look in their eyes. The rain had stopped, but the air smelled of fresh earth. Yuna held the bracelet that Kumi had left her, Daigo walked quietly for once, and even Komehyo seemed more serious, though he still told jokes from time to time so the mood wouldn’t get too heavy.

Daigo escribió que quería cuidar mejor a sus amigos, Yuna prometió no volver a perder la pulsera. Ak escribió simplemente: “No olvidaré, pero también viviré”.

In the club room, Najimi suggested they create a “journal of promises kept.” Each person wrote down memories of Kumi and their childhood, but also hopes for the future. Daigo wrote that he wanted to take better care of his friends, Yuna promised never to lose the bracelet again. Ak simply wrote: “I will not forget, but I will also live.”

Komehyo pegó la primera página en la pared con una chincheta dorada, declarando solemnemente: —¡Queda inaugurada la nueva era del Club de los Olvidados! ¡Ahora somos el Club de los Recuerdos! Todos aplaudieron y rieron. Por fin, el pasado no era solo dolor, sino también fuerza para avanzar juntos.
