En la montaña, justo antes del amanecer, un nuevo grito despertó a todos. Esta vez era Martina quien no estaba en su cama. Su abrigo seguía colgado en el perchero y sus botas seguían bajo la ventana. La puerta principal permanecía cerrada por dentro. Nadie había escuchado pasos ni ruidos extraños durante la noche.

山荘では、夜明け前に新たな叫び声が響いた。今度はマルティナがベッドにいなかった。コートは玄関のフックにかけられたまま、ブーツも窓の下にあった。正面玄関は内側から閉められていた。夜中に足音や物音を聞いた者はいなかった。
English Version
In the mountains, just before dawn, a new scream woke everyone. This time it was Martina who was missing from her bed. Her coat was still hanging on the hook and her boots were still under the window. The main door remained locked from the inside. Nobody had heard footsteps or strange noises during the night.

En la escuela, Aku estaba en el pasillo cuando oyó a Ken gritar desde el baño: —¡Rosa ha desaparecido!—. En el espejo había un mensaje escrito con jabón: “Solo quedan los que saben mentir”. La puerta del baño estaba cerrada por dentro, pero no había nadie dentro cuando lograron abrirla.

English Version
In the school, Aku was in the hallway when he heard Ken shouting from the bathroom: “Rosa is missing!” On the mirror, a message was written with soap: “Only those who know how to lie remain.” The bathroom door was locked from the inside, but when they managed to open it, there was nobody inside.

Kumi y Aku, ahora aún más preocupados, compartieron mentalmente lo ocurrido. Ambos lugares tenían desaparecidos bajo circunstancias imposibles. Las reglas del juego cambiaban. Sabían que cuanto más avanzaran, más peligrosa se volvía la sombra… y que solo desenmascarando la verdad podrían salvar a los que quedaban.

Kumi and Aku, now even more worried, shared what had happened. In both places, people had vanished under impossible circumstances. The rules of the game were changing. They knew that the further they went, the more dangerous the shadow would become… and that only by revealing the truth could they save those who remained.
