Historia (CEFR: A1)
Es lunes por la mañana. En la escuela, todos los niños están sentados para el almuerzo. En la mesa de Kumi, hay cajas de leche y pequeños platos de pan. Kumi abre su caja de leche, pero la leche sale muy rápido y se derrama por toda la mesa. “¡Oh, no!” grita Kumi.

It is Monday morning. At school, all the children are sitting down for lunch. On Kumi’s table, there are milk cartons and small plates with bread. Kumi opens her milk, but the milk comes out too quickly and spills all over the table. “Oh, no!” Kumi shouts.

Yui y otros amigos miran sorprendidos. Algunos niños se ríen, pero Yui ayuda a Kumi a limpiar la mesa. “No pasa nada”, dice Yui con una sonrisa. La profesora Matsuda trae una toalla y también ayuda. “A todos nos pasa alguna vez”, dice la profesora.

Yui and other friends look surprised. Some children laugh, but Yui helps Kumi clean the table. “It’s okay,” Yui says with a smile. Ms. Matsuda brings a towel and helps too. “It happens to everyone at least once,” the teacher says.

Kumi está un poco triste, pero pronto se siente mejor. Los amigos la animan y le dan parte de su pan. “¡Gracias!” dice Kumi. Después de limpiar, todos disfrutan juntos del almuerzo.

Kumi feels a little sad, but soon she feels better. Her friends cheer her up and share some of their bread with her. “Thank you!” Kumi says. After cleaning up, everyone enjoys lunch together.

In the afternoon, Kumi tells the story at home. Her mother listens and says, “Don’t worry, Kumi. The important thing is to have kind friends.” Kumi smiles and thinks that, even on difficult days, friends make everything better.
