After reading time, it’s time to go back to the classroom. But when Kumi gets to her desk, she realizes she doesn’t have the book. “Oh, I’ve lost it!” she cries.

Kumi busca por todos lados: debajo de la mesa, en la biblioteca, en el pasillo. Yui y Akari la ayudan. Después de buscar un rato, Akari encuentra el libro detrás de una silla grande. “¡Aquí está!” grita contenta.

Kumi looks everywhere: under the desk, in the library, in the hallway. Yui and Akari help her. After a while, Akari finds the book behind a big chair. “Here it is!” she says happily.

Kumi is very relieved. “Thank you!” she says to her friends. She returns the book to the librarian and promises to be more careful next time. All the girls say goodbye to the books with a little bow.

That night, Kumi tells the story to her mom. Mom says, “Sometimes losing something is an adventure. But the best thing is having friends who help you.” Kumi nods and dreams of animals and adventures all night.
