Der Gang endete plötzlich – ohne Vorwarnung – in einer Tür. Keine Schrift. Kein Griff. Nur ein Fenster in der Tür. Durch das Fenster sah man einen Raum. Und durch das Fenster im Raum sah man… uns.

廊下は突然終わった――何の前触れもなく。
一枚の扉があった。
表示も取っ手もない。
扉の真ん中には小さな窓だけがあった。
その窓からは、部屋が見えた。
そしてその部屋の窓からは……僕たちが見えた。

The hallway ended suddenly — without warning — in a door. No sign. No handle. Just a small window in the middle. Through that window, we saw a room. And through the room’s window, we saw… ourselves.
„Das ist nicht möglich…“, murmelte Luca. „Was, wenn es nicht wir sind?“ fragte ich. Jule blinzelte. „Was, wenn es uns vorher gibt? Oder nachher.“

「こんなの……ありえない」ルカがつぶやいた。
「もし、あれが僕たちじゃなかったら？」僕が聞いた。
ユレが瞬きをした。
「もし、“先にある私たち”か、“後にある私たち”だったら？」

“This isn’t possible…” murmured Luca. “What if that’s not us?” I asked. Jule blinked. “What if it’s us from before? Or after.”
Der Raum hinter der Tür öffnete sich nicht. Also sahen wir nur zu, wie die anderen „wir“ sich bewegten. Einer – der wie ich aussah – trat ans Fenster, presste die Stirn dagegen… und flüsterte: „Lasst mich rein.“

僕に似た一人が窓際に歩み寄り、額を押し当て……
そして、ささやいた。

The door wouldn’t open. So we just watched the other “us” move. One of them — the one who looked like me — walked up to the window, pressed his forehead to it… and whispered: “Let me in.”
Ich wollte wegrennen. Doch meine Füße blieben kleben – am Boden? Nein. Am Moment.

I wanted to run. But my feet wouldn’t move. Were they stuck to the floor? No. To the moment.
„Jemand spielt mit unseren Erinnerungen“, sagte Jule. „Oder wir mit seinen.“
