Story (English - CEFR C2)
When the last visitor left, we collapsed into a messy heap of laughter and exhaustion. Mitsuki sprawled on the floor, arms flung wide; Najimi flopped beside her, muttering, “We survived. I think.” Haru was, for once, grinning openly, and Komehyo was still tweaking the sound system as if he couldn’t believe it was over.

Kumi poured drinks for everyone—nothing fancy, just tea in mismatched cups. “For the club that laughs in the face of death,” she said, raising her mug. For the first time, her toast didn’t sound forced.
