Story (English - CEFR C2)
Just as the club settled into a new routine with Haru, a new rumor began to ripple through the school. “Have you seen the new girl?” Najimi asked, eyes wide with curiosity. “I heard she transferred from some faraway place. No one knows what class she’s in, but people keep seeing her around the old wing. They say she looks a lot like someone we know…”

ハルが加わって新しい日常に慣れ始めた頃、学校にまた新しい噂が広がり始めた。「ねえ、新しい転校生見た？」とナジミが目を輝かせて聞いてきた。「遠いところから来たらしいけど、どのクラスか誰も知らないんだって。でも古い校舎の辺りで何度も目撃されてる。しかも、なんだか誰かにそっくりなんだって――」

Justo cuando el club empezaba a acostumbrarse a la presencia de Haru, un nuevo rumor recorrió la escuela. “¿Has visto a la nueva chica?” preguntó Najimi, con los ojos llenos de curiosidad. “Dicen que vino de un lugar muy lejano. Nadie sabe en qué clase está, pero la han visto por el ala vieja. Dicen que se parece mucho a alguien que conocemos…”
Mitsuki was instantly intrigued. “A doppelgänger? Maybe she’s my long-lost twin!” Komehyo rolled his eyes but said nothing. Even Haru, usually silent, paused for a moment, glancing at the window as if expecting someone to appear outside.

That afternoon, the clubroom felt strangely tense. Najimi kept glancing at the door, as if half-expecting it to open. Mitsuki whispered theories about the mysterious girl to anyone who would listen. Even Komehyo seemed less sarcastic than usual, his gaze distant and thoughtful.

Esa tarde, la sala del club se sentía extrañamente tensa. Najimi miraba la puerta una y otra vez, como si esperara que se abriera. Mitsuki susurraba teorías sobre la chica misteriosa a quien quisiera escucharla. Incluso Komehyo parecía menos sarcástico de lo normal, su mirada lejana y pensativa.
I tried to brush off the weird mood, but I couldn’t help feeling watched—like the clubroom itself was holding its breath, waiting for something to happen. Maybe it was just the season changing, or maybe we all sensed that the next chapter was about to begin.
