Story (CEFR: B1 English)
September arrived quietly. The sun set earlier, and a cool breeze crept through Puzzle House. Our days became filled with new routines—school projects, steaming cups of tea, and long walks under trees just beginning to turn gold.

Komehyo kept the mood light, organizing silly contests—who could balance a book on their head the longest, or make the best autumn dessert. Laughter filled the evenings, but sometimes, as the wind howled outside, a strange feeling crept into my heart.

I shook my head. “No. But whatever happens, we promised to face it together.”
