Story (CEFR: B1 English)
After the festival, we sat on the porch, listening to the last fireworks echo across the hills. The night air was cool, but no one wanted to go inside yet. Sora stretched out on the steps, looking up at the sky.

Después del festival, nos sentamos en el porche escuchando los últimos fuegos artificiales resonar en las colinas. El aire nocturno era fresco, pero nadie quería entrar todavía. Sora se estiró en los escalones, mirando al cielo.
“Hey,” Sora said, “has anyone noticed the strange light in the woods?”
We all looked. Through the trees, a faint blue glow flickered. Tsubame’s eyes widened. “That wasn’t there before, right?”

みんなで見つめると、木々の間で青白い光が揺れていた。ツバメの目が大きくなる。「あれ、前はなかったよね？」

“Oigan,” dijo Sora, “¿alguien ha visto esa luz extraña en el bosque?”
Todos miramos. A través de los árboles, parpadeaba un tenue resplandor azul. Los ojos de Tsubame se agrandaron. “Eso no estaba ahí antes, ¿verdad?”
Komehyo stood up, grinning. “Sounds like a new mystery!”
Najimi shivered, but smiled bravely. “Should we go check it out… together?”

Komehyo se levantó, sonriendo. “¡Parece un nuevo misterio!”
Najimi tembló, pero sonrió con valentía. “¿Vamos juntos… a investigar?”
With flashlights and nervous laughter, we made our way into the woods. The blue light danced ahead, always just out of reach. Miiro held Najimi’s hand; Sora led the way with Tsubame at his side, jotting down notes in the moonlight.

Con linternas y risas nerviosas, nos adentramos en el bosque. La luz azul danzaba adelante, siempre fuera de alcance. Miiro tomó la mano de Najimi; Sora guiaba con Tsubame a su lado, anotando todo bajo la luz de la luna.
Deeper in the woods, we found an old stone well glowing with that strange blue light. No one spoke for a long moment. The air was thick with magic—and maybe a little fear.

Más adentro en el bosque, encontramos un viejo pozo de piedra que brillaba con esa extraña luz azul. Nadie habló durante un buen rato. El aire estaba cargado de magia… y quizá un poco de miedo.
