A few days later, Puzzle House was alive with the sounds of cicadas. Najimi and Miiro were making lemonade when the doorbell rang. Komehyo poked his head out of his room, curious. “Is someone coming?”

Unos días después, la Casa Puzzle se llenó de los sonidos de las cigarras. Najimi y Miiro preparaban limonada cuando sonó el timbre. Komehyo asomó la cabeza desde su cuarto, curioso. “¿Viene alguien?”
I opened the door and found two unfamiliar faces. A boy with wild hair and a huge backpack, and a quiet girl in glasses holding a notebook.
“Hi! I’m Sora, and this is Tsubame,” the boy said cheerfully. “We heard this place is full of puzzles. Can we join you?”

僕がドアを開けると、見知らぬ二人が立っていた。ボサボサ頭の大きなリュックの少年と、ノートを抱えた眼鏡の静かな少女。
「やあ！僕はソラ、こっちはツバメ。ここにはパズルがたくさんあるって聞いてきたんだ。一緒に入ってもいい？」

Abrí la puerta y vi a dos caras nuevas. Un chico de pelo alborotado con una mochila enorme, y una chica callada con gafas y un cuaderno.
“¡Hola! Soy Sora, y ella es Tsubame,” dijo el chico animado. “Escuchamos que esta casa está llena de acertijos. ¿Podemos unirnos?”
Najimi grinned and waved them in. “The more, the merrier! Puzzle House loves new friends.”
Komehyo sized up Sora’s backpack. “What’s in there? A supercomputer?”
Sora laughed. “Just snacks. And maybe a few surprises.”

コメヒョがソラのリュックをじっと見る。「中身は何？スーパーコンピューターでも入ってる？」

Najimi sonrió y los invitó a pasar. “¡Cuantos más, mejor! A la Casa Puzzle le encantan los amigos nuevos.”
Komehyo miró la mochila de Sora. “¿Qué llevas ahí? ¿Una supercomputadora?”
Sora se rió. “Solo bocadillos. Y quizá algunas sorpresas.”
Tsubame adjusted her glasses shyly. “If it’s okay, I’d like to record everything we discover here. I love writing about mysteries.”
Miiro nodded. “We’d be glad to have you. There’s always another secret around the corner.”

Tsubame se acomodó las gafas, tímida. “Si está bien, me gustaría registrar todo lo que descubramos aquí. Me encanta escribir sobre misterios.”
Miiro asintió. “Nos encantaría. Siempre hay un secreto más esperando.”
As our circle grew, so did the sense that Puzzle House was becoming something more—a place where anyone could belong, and every day brought a new adventure.
