Later that week, while Najimi and Miiro were baking cookies in the kitchen, Komehyo came running into the living room, waving a piece of paper. “Guys! I found something strange on the third floor.”

He spread out a crumpled old map on the coffee table. It showed a part of Puzzle House we’d never explored—a room labeled “Blue Window.” The drawing had strange symbols, and a note: “Opens only under the summer moon.”

Extendió un viejo mapa arrugado sobre la mesa de centro. Mostraba una parte de la Casa Puzzle que nunca habíamos explorado: una habitación llamada “Ventana Azul”. El dibujo tenía símbolos extraños y una nota: “Solo se abre bajo la luna de verano.”
Miiro’s eyes shone. “That must be the blue light from your dream, Ak!” Najimi bounced with excitement. “Let’s find it tonight!”
Komehyo grinned. “I’ll get the flashlights ready. Summer moonrise is at 11:13 pm.”

That night, we climbed quietly up the creaky stairs. The air was thick with anticipation. The door at the end of the hall looked ordinary, but as the moonlight touched the glass pane, it shimmered blue.
