The next morning, Puzzle House felt different. There was a faint knock at the front door, so quiet we almost missed it. Najimi looked up from her cereal. “Did someone hear that?”

A la mañana siguiente, la Casa Puzzle se sentía diferente. Hubo un leve golpe en la puerta principal, tan suave que casi no lo oímos. Najimi levantó la vista de su cereal. “¿Alguien escuchó eso?”
I opened the door and found a girl about our age standing on the porch. She wore a raincoat and held a faded umbrella. Her eyes were sharp, but her smile was small and uncertain.

Abrí la puerta y vi a una chica de nuestra edad en el porche. Llevaba impermeable y sostenía un paraguas descolorido. Sus ojos eran agudos, pero su sonrisa era pequeña e incierta.
“Um, hi. I’m Miiro,” she said softly. “Is this the Puzzle House?”
Komehyo appeared behind me. “It sure is! Are you a lost puzzle piece?”
Najimi popped out too. “Welcome! We love visitors.”

“Eh… hola. Soy Miiro,” dijo suavemente. “¿Esta es la Casa Puzzle?”
Komehyo apareció detrás de mí. “¡Claro que sí! ¿Eres una pieza perdida del puzzle?”
Najimi también salió. “¡Bienvenida! Nos encantan las visitas.”
Miiro laughed a little. “Maybe. I heard stories about this place. Can I… stay for a while?”
I nodded. “Of course! There’s always room for one more.”

Asentí. “¡Por supuesto! Siempre hay espacio para uno más.”
We led her inside and introduced her to the house, the mysteries, and even the silver bell. With Miiro’s arrival, I felt the next chapter of our Puzzle House adventure was about to begin.
