Story (CEFR: B1 English)
That evening, dark clouds gathered over Puzzle House. Ak glanced at the sky from the lounge window. “Looks like a big storm is coming.”
Najimi leaned over his shoulder, grinning. “Perfect weather for a club night! We should make it fun.”
Kumi peered outside, a little nervous. “Does it thunder a lot here?”
Rikka reassured her. “Don’t worry. We always find something interesting to do.”
Komehyo rushed in with a flashlight and a stack of cards. “I present: the Storm Survival Game! Each card has a silly challenge. Who wants to go first?”

その夜、パズルハウスの上に暗い雲が集まった。アクはラウンジの窓から空を見上げる。「大きな嵐が来そうだね」
ナジミは肩越しに覗き込んでニヤリ。「クラブの夜にぴったり！どうせなら楽しく過ごそうよ」
クミは少し不安そうに外を覗く。「ここって雷すごいの？」
リッカが優しくなだめる。「大丈夫。私たちはいつも面白いことを見つけるから」
コメヒョが懐中電灯とカードの束を持って飛び込んでくる。「ストーム・サバイバル・ゲームを提案します！カードには変なチャレンジが書いてある。最初は誰？」

Esa noche, nubes oscuras se acumularon sobre la Casa Puzzle. Ak miró el cielo desde la ventana del salón. “Parece que viene una gran tormenta.”
Najimi se asomó por encima de su hombro, sonriendo. “¡Noche perfecta para el club! Hay que hacerlo divertido.”
Kumi miró afuera, algo nerviosa. “¿Aquí hay muchas tormentas eléctricas?”
Rikka la tranquilizó. “No te preocupes. Siempre encontramos algo interesante que hacer.”
Komehyo entró corriendo con una linterna y un montón de cartas. “¡Presento el Juego de Supervivencia en Tormenta! Cada carta tiene un reto divertido. ¿Quién quiere empezar?”
Najimi drew the first card. “It says: ‘Tell your best joke!’”
She stood up dramatically. “Why did the bicycle fall over? Because it was two-tired!”
Everyone groaned and laughed. Kumi covered her mouth, giggling. “That’s so bad it’s good.”
Komehyo handed a card to Ak. “Your turn!”
Ak read his card aloud. “Invent a new rain dance.”
He hesitated, but Rikka encouraged, “Go on, Ak! Show us your moves!”
Ak spun in a circle, waving his arms. Najimi joined in, and soon everyone was laughing and dancing together.

ナジミが最初のカードを引く。「“一番おもしろいジョークを言え！”だって」
ナジミは大げさに立ち上がる。「なんで自転車は倒れたでしょう？疲れすぎて（two-tired＝タイヤが２つ＆疲れた）だったから！」
みんな「ひどい！」と笑い、クミも手で口を押さえてクスッ。「逆に面白いね」
コメヒョがアクにカードを渡す。「次はアク！」
アクはカードを読み上げる。「新しい雨乞いダンスを発明せよ」
戸惑うアクに、リッカが「やってやって！」と応援。
アクがぐるぐる回り、腕を振るとナジミも真似し、全員で踊って笑った。

Najimi sacó la primera carta. “Dice: ‘¡Cuenta tu mejor chiste!’”
Se puso de pie teatralmente. “¿Por qué se cayó la bicicleta? ¡Porque estaba muy cansada (two-tired)!”
Todos se quejaron y rieron. Kumi se tapó la boca, riendo. “Es tan malo que da risa.”
Komehyo le dio una carta a Ak. “¡Te toca!”
Ak leyó su carta. “Inventa un nuevo baile para la lluvia.”
Dudó, pero Rikka lo animó: “¡Vamos, Ak! ¡Muéstranos tus pasos!”
Ak giró en círculo, agitando los brazos. Najimi se unió, y pronto todos bailaban y reían juntos.
Kumi finally took a card, her hands shaking slightly. “Mine says: ‘Share your bravest moment.’”
She grew quiet. “Um… My bravest moment? Maybe… when I moved to a new city alone, not knowing anyone. It was scary. But I’m really glad I did, because I met all of you.”
The room was silent for a heartbeat. Then Rikka squeezed her hand. Najimi cheered, “That’s real bravery!” Ak nodded. “We’re glad you’re here, Kumi.”
Kumi smiled shyly. “Thank you… Actually, right now, I feel very brave, too.”

クミもカードを引く。手が少し震えている。「“あなたの一番勇気を出した瞬間を話せ”だって」
クミは少し黙る。「私の勇気の瞬間…たぶん、知らない街に一人で引っ越してきた時かな。怖かったけど、みんなに会えてよかった」
部屋が一瞬静かになり、リッカがクミの手を握る。ナジミが「それこそ勇気だよ！」と元気づけ、アクもうなずく。「クミが来てくれて本当にうれしい」
クミははにかみながら微笑む。「ありがとう…実は今もすごく勇気が出てる気がする」

Kumi finalmente tomó una carta, con las manos temblando un poco. “La mía dice: ‘Cuenta tu momento más valiente.’”
Se quedó pensativa. “¿Mi momento más valiente? Quizá… cuando me mudé sola a una ciudad nueva, sin conocer a nadie. Me daba miedo. Pero ahora me alegro, porque los conocí a todos.”
La sala quedó en silencio por un instante. Rikka le apretó la mano. Najimi animó, “¡Eso sí es valentía!” Ak asintió. “Nos alegra que estés aquí, Kumi.”
Kumi sonrió tímidamente. “Gracias… De hecho, ahora mismo también me siento muy valiente.”
The game continued as rain battered the windows. Komehyo’s card read, “Invent a lightning detector with anything in this room.” He ran around, attaching spoons and batteries, making everyone laugh.
Najimi turned off the lights, then danced with two flashlights, casting wild shadows on the walls. “This is the legendary Rain Dance!”
Ak and Rikka joined her, singing a silly club song about storms and snacks.
Kumi giggled. “This is the best storm ever.”
By the time the thunder faded, everyone was out of breath but full of joy. Ak said, “Let’s promise: whatever storms come, we’ll always face them together.”
“Deal!” everyone replied at once.

ゲームは続き、雨が窓を叩く。コメヒョのカードは「部屋の物で雷探知機を作れ」。彼はスプーンや電池をつなげてみせて、みんな大笑い。
ナジミが明かりを消し、懐中電灯２本で「伝説の雨乞いダンス」を披露。影が壁を踊る。
アクとリッカも加わり、「嵐とおやつのクラブソング」を即興で歌う。
クミは楽しそうに「今までで一番楽しい嵐だね」
雷が弱まる頃には、みんな息を切らしつつも満足げ。アクが「どんな嵐でも、これからもみんなで乗り越えよう」と言うと、
「賛成！」と全員で声を合わせた。

El juego continuó mientras la lluvia golpeaba las ventanas. La carta de Komehyo decía: “Inventa un detector de rayos con lo que haya aquí.” Corrió por la sala, uniendo cucharas y pilas, y todos rieron.
Najimi apagó las luces y bailó con dos linternas, lanzando sombras locas en las paredes. “¡Este es el legendario baile de la lluvia!”
Ak y Rikka se unieron, cantando una canción tonta sobre tormentas y bocadillos.
Kumi rió. “Esta es la mejor tormenta de mi vida.”
Cuando el trueno se calmó, todos estaban agotados pero felices. Ak dijo, “Prometamos que, venga la tormenta que venga, siempre la enfrentaremos juntos.”
“¡Trato hecho!” respondieron todos al unísono.
