Story (CEFR: B1 English)
Saturday morning starts with chaos. I open my door to find Najimi in the hallway, brandishing a whisk and a carton of eggs, and Komehyo trying to balance three mugs of tea on a clipboard labeled “Project: Infinite Omelet.” I rub my eyes. “Are we under attack, or is this just breakfast?”

Abro la puerta y veo a Najimi en el pasillo, blandiendo un batidor y una caja de huevos, y a Komehyo intentando equilibrar tres tazas de té sobre un portapapeles que dice “Proyecto: Omelet Infinito”. Me froto los ojos. “¿Estamos bajo ataque, o solo es el desayuno?”

Komehyo grins. “Theoretical models suggest a 32% chance of deliciousness and a 68% chance of kitchen disaster. Statistically, we must proceed.”

The cooking process is a beautiful mess. Najimi narrates everything like a TV show, “And now, we fold the eggs—gently, as if tucking in a sleeping kitten.” Komehyo times each step with his phone, announcing “Quantum flavor resonance achieved!” at random intervals. I try to keep the peace, dodging cheese, and saving the salt shaker from becoming part of “Project: Infinite Omelet.”

I look at Najimi and Komehyo, and for a second, I wish mornings like this could last forever—chaotic, hilarious, and full of possibility. Then someone sneezes, and half the omelet flies onto the floor. Chaos returns, and the adventure continues.
