Story (CEFR: A2 English)
We stepped deeper into the ancient forest, our hearts beating with excitement and worry. The Spirit Tree’s message echoed in our minds: find three lost relics, each holding a memory and a lesson. Sunlight faded as the trees grew taller and closer together, and the air grew cool and green. Our group stayed close, every footstep soft on the mossy ground.

Hajime knelt by the river and touched the water. “It’s so clear. I can see my face.” As he said that, the surface rippled and an image appeared: a memory of a younger Hajime and An, laughing and skipping stones as children. We all watched in silence as the memory faded.
