Story (CEFR: A2 English)
That night, the village was restless. People locked their doors and windows, whispering prayers to old spirits. Even the animals seemed to sense something strange. Kumi, Dalia, Komehyo, Acetone, and I met at the edge of the village, carrying lanterns and wooden staffs for protection.
