2-2: 出発点「～から」を示す from
前回のレッスンでは、目標地点へ向かう矢印 (to) を学びました。今回は、その逆の動き、つまり**「出発点」「起点」「起源」**を表す前置詞「from」をマスターしましょう。 「～から」という意味で非常に幅広く使われる重要な前置詞です。
from のコアイメージは「起点・分離 ●←」です！
ある場所・時間・物・人などから「離れていく」動きや、「そこを始まりとして」という感覚を掴みましょう。
点Aが「起点」となり、そこから離れていくイメージ。
from の使い方①：場所の出発点
ある場所**「から」**移動したり、出発したりすることを示します。to と組み合わせて「AからBまで」という移動範囲を示すこともよくあります。
come/return/depart/escape など + from + 場所

from の使い方②：時間の開始点
ある特定の時間**「から」**何かが始まる、あるいは継続することを示します。since と異なり、現在完了形との強い結びつきはありません。様々な時制で使えます。 to や until/till と共に「A時からB時まで」という期間を表すことも多いです。

物や情報、人がどこ**「から」**来たのか（出所・起源）、何**「から」**作られているのか（材料）、病気や苦しみが何**「から」**生じているのか（原因）、何**「から」**区別されるのか、といった意味でも使われます。

from の使い方④：視点・観点
「～の視点から見ると」「～から判断すると」のように、考え方や判断の基準となる視点を示すこともあります。
from my point of view / judging from ... / seen from ... など
