官渡之戰後，曹操勢力大增，我與劉備在亂軍中失散，被迫投奔曹操。曹操對我甚為厚待，封我為偏將軍，贈金給馬，甚至為我設宴，展現出無比的誠意。我感念其恩情，為報其德，斬顏良、誅文丑，立下赫赫戰功。但我心中始終掛念劉備，義不容辭。當得知其下落後，我毅然決定離開曹營，尋兄而去。

After the Battle of Guandu, Cao Cao's power expanded rapidly. I lost contact with Liu Bei in the chaos and had no choice but to seek refuge with Cao Cao. He treated me generously, appointing me as General of the Ranks, giving me gold and horses, and hosting banquets in my honor. Grateful for his kindness, I repaid him by slaying Yan Liang and Wen Chou, achieving great military success. However, my heart was always with Liu Bei. When I learned of his whereabouts, I left Cao Cao’s camp without hesitation to search for my sworn brother.

On the day I left Cao Cao’s camp, I took Liu Bei’s second wife and a few loyal subordinates with me. We traveled northward, crossing provinces and counties, facing countless dangers. Driven by loyalty and righteousness, we broke through every threat. This journey later became known as “The Long Ride Alone.” The most perilous moment was at the city of Gu, where the guard Han Fu refused to open the gates. I had no choice but to charge through, killing dozens of enemies to escape. That night, under a frost-like moonlight, I silently recited my brother’s name, held my sword tightly, and refused to retreat a single step.
