日本的故事

大国主神は素戔嗚尊の子孫で、幼い頃から賢くて優しく、人々に愛されていました。神の力を持つだけでなく、動物や風の声を聞くこともできました。多くの神々は、彼こそが地上の世界の真の支配者になると信じていました。

Ōkuninushi, a descendant of Susanoo, was wise and kind from a young age, and beloved by many. He not only possessed divine power but could also understand the voices of animals and the wind. Many gods believed he would become the true ruler of the earthly world.

Ōkuninushi, descendiente de Susanoo, era sabio y bondadoso desde joven, y muy querido por todos. No solo tenía poderes divinos, sino que también podía entender las voces de los animales y el viento. Muchos dioses creían que él sería el verdadero gobernante del mundo terrenal.

彼は最初から権力を持っていたわけではありませんでした。大国主神には多くの兄弟がいて、皆がその才能を妬み、何度も罠にはめて命を奪おうとしました。彼は何度も傷つきましたが、そのたびに動物や神々に助けられました。

He did not have power from the beginning. Ōkuninushi had many brothers who were jealous of his talents and repeatedly tried to trap or kill him. Though he was hurt many times, animals and gods always came to his aid.

Él no tuvo poder desde el principio. Ōkuninushi tenía muchos hermanos que, celosos de su talento, intentaron atraparlo o matarlo muchas veces. Aunque fue herido varias veces, siempre fue salvado por los animales o los dioses.

あるとき、兄たちは彼を火の中に突き落としましたが、うさぎの神が彼を救いました。また別のときには、山に埋められましたが、鳥たちが飛んできて土を掘り返してくれました。彼は次第に気づいていきます。天地には「仁愛」という力があり、それは武力よりも強いのだと。

Once, his brothers pushed him into a fire, but the Rabbit God saved him. Another time, he was buried in the mountains, and birds came to peck away the dirt. He slowly realized that there was a power in the world called “compassion,” stronger than force.

Una vez, sus hermanos lo arrojaron al fuego, pero el Dios Conejo lo salvó. En otra ocasión, fue enterrado en una montaña, y las aves volaron para quitar la tierra. Poco a poco comprendió que existía una fuerza llamada “compasión”, más poderosa que la violencia.

大人になった大国主神は、祖先の神々の試練を受け、黄泉の国を旅しました。幽界の神々と語り合い、恐れず、誠実に振る舞いました。彼の勇気と優しさが認められ、冥界の神は自らの娘を彼に嫁がせ、「あなたには地上を治める資格がある」と言いました。

As an adult, Ōkuninushi accepted the trial of the ancestral gods and traveled through the underworld. He spoke with the spirits without fear and acted with honesty. The gods of the underworld were moved and gave him their daughter in marriage, saying, “You are worthy to govern the earth.”

Ya adulto, Ōkuninushi aceptó las pruebas de los dioses ancestros y viajó por el inframundo. Habló con los espíritus sin miedo y actuó con honestidad. Los dioses del inframundo se sintieron conmovidos y le ofrecieron a su hija en matrimonio, diciendo: “Eres digno de gobernar la tierra.”

その後、大国主神は各地で平和を築き、田畑を開き、人々に知恵と暮らしを教えました。彼は支配者であるだけでなく、医者であり、農夫であり、詩人でもありました。そして「出雲大社」の原型となる神殿を築き、天地にこう誓いました。「私はこの国を天照大神の子孫に捧げます」と。

From then on, Ōkuninushi worked to build peace, cultivate land, and teach people. He was not only a ruler but also a healer, a farmer, and a poet. He built the first version of Izumo Taisha and made a vow to heaven and earth: “I offer this land to the descendants of Amaterasu.”

Desde entonces, Ōkuninushi trabajó por la paz, cultivó tierras y enseñó al pueblo. No solo era gobernante, sino también médico, agricultor y poeta. Construyó la primera forma del Izumo Taisha y juró ante el cielo y la tierra: “Ofrezco esta tierra a los descendientes de Amaterasu.”

This vow is called the “Myth of the Transfer of the Land,” one of the most important chapters in Japanese mythology. It symbolizes reconciliation among gods and marks the legitimate inheritance of rule in the human world.
