場所を表す基本前置詞 at (点) と on (面・線) に続いて、今回は「in」をマスターしましょう！ in は、時間表現と同じく、**「内部空間」や「境界線で囲まれた範囲内」**というコアイメージを持っています。箱や部屋の「中」、都市や国の「中」などを思い浮かべてください。

何かに囲まれた「中」や、ある程度の広がりを持つ「範囲内」を指す感覚を掴みましょう。

in の使い方①：囲まれた空間の内部 (Inside Enclosed Spaces)
部屋、建物、箱、カバン、ポケット、引き出しなど、物理的に境界線で**囲まれた空間の「中」**に人や物がある状態を示す、最も基本的な使い方です。 また、車やタクシーのように「中に座る」小型の乗り物にも in を使います。
