English Story (CEFR: B1)
After the storm, the people of the Valley of the Wind worked together to repair their village. There was a strong sense of community and hope in the air. During this busy time, a traveler arrived in the valley. She was a young woman with kind, intelligent eyes, and she carried a large leather bag full of books and maps.
Her name was Elara, and she was a scholar who studied rare plants. She had come to the valley searching for a special plant called the Moonlight Herb. According to old legends, this herb had the power to heal wounds, but no one had seen it for many years.
Elara asked the villagers if they knew where to find it, but nobody knew. The villagers were too busy with the repair work to help her search. Elara was a little disappointed, but she was determined to find it on her own.
Kaito saw Elara looking at her map with a frustrated expression. He could hear her thoughts. "It must be here somewhere..." "My research depends on this." "I cannot give up..." Her voice was strong and focused. But underneath her academic interest, Kaito felt something else: a deep and desperate wish to help someone.
Kaito felt a connection to this feeling. The desire to 'heal' was something he understood well. He decided to help her. He approached Elara and said, "I might be able to help you. I know this valley very well."
Elara looked up, surprised. "Really? That would be wonderful. But how?"

Kaito now understood the desperation in her heart. She wasn't just a scholar; she was a healer, just like him, but in a different way. Her tools were knowledge and science, while his was a strange, invisible power.
He realized that his power had once again helped someone, and this time, it could help a whole town far away. He looked at Elara, with her books and her knowledge, and had a new thought.
Maybe his power was not meant to be used alone. Maybe by working with people like Elara, people with different skills and knowledge, his ability to 'connect and heal' could become even stronger. Perhaps his power could help her science, and her science could give his power a clearer direction.
As they walked back to the village under the starry sky, Kaito felt that his world was becoming bigger. It was no longer just the Valley of the Wind. His journey was beginning to connect with the world outside, with new people, new challenges, and new possibilities for healing.
